The Company had more invested in 6 companies involving the production and distribution of electricity from solar energy.
The Company had established Inter Far East Cap Management Co., Ltd. ("ICAP"), another subsidiary, to handle other investment management besides the renewable power plants. ICAP invested in Smart Tree Co., Ltd. ("SMT") conducting the business for networking, communication network expansion and power grids systems. ICAP had set up a subsidiary called "Inter Far East Engineering and Construction Co., Ltd." ("I-CON") to conduct the business as a distributor and make an auction of equipment, machinery and spare parts related to transportation and others. Moreover, ICAP had invested in Dhara Dhevi Group comprises of Dhara Dhevi Hotel Co., Ltd. ("DDV"), A.P.K. Development Co., Ltd. ("APK") and Dhara Dhevi Co., Ltd. ("DV") conducting the hotel and condominium business under the trade mark "Dhara Dhevi Hotel, Chiang Mai".
The Company had established Inter Far East Solar Co., Ltd. ("ISOLAR"), another new subsidiary, to operate the production and distribution of electricity from solar energy. On August 21, 2015, the new 16 subsidiaries were established to operate its investment and support the solar power projects of government agencies.
On October 13, 2015 Inter Far East Engineering Public Company Limited had registered with Department of Business Development, Ministry of Commerce for its new name as Inter Far East Energy Corporation Public Company Limited in accordance with the resolution of the shareholders.
During April 2014, The Company acquired the business of solar power plants of Sun Park Co., Ltd. and Sun Park 2 Co., Ltd. holding 100% of shares. On 3 June 2014, the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders No. 1/2557, approved the Company to restructure its business because over the recent years the sales and lease the copiers business were flat and not growing significantly due to market conditions and increasing competition. Also, Konica Minolta Business Solutions Asia Pte Ltd ("KM BSA") which was the right provider to the Company under Component Distributor Agreement for the "Konica Minolta" brand had established its representative office in Thailand last year as Konica Minolta Business Solutions (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (KM BTH) to check, prepare and report the movements of the business to KM BSA. It was a sign for the Company to move into new business. Finally the Company had decided to invest in alternative energy around mid-2013. In conjunction with the current reseller agreement that had expired on March 31, 2014 and the shareholders meanwhile approved the disposal of assets in relation to sales and leasing copiers business to Konica Minolta Business Solutions (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (KM BTH), all these were to reduce the impact to the customer, employees and the shareholders as well as selling off real estate to NND (Thailand) Co., Ltd., and the approval for the Company to expand many additional power plant projects.
For the Corporate Governance Report of Thai Listed Companies in 2013 under the Stock Exchange of Thailand, the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Thailand Institute of Directors, the Company was assessed with the rate "Very Good." On the Quality Assessment Meeting of Shareholders for 2013, the Investors Association of Thailand which was the mainstay of protection for the rights of investors in SET evaluated the Company with the rate "Excellent." In 2013, the company increased its registered capital from 407,792,810 Baht to 1,376,300,733 Baht by offering to existing shareholders (Right Offering: RO) not exceeding 203,896,405 shares, offered to investors through Private Placement: PP of not more than 305,844,60 shares and the exercise of warrants (IFEC-W1) of up to 458,766,911 shares; making the Company with paid-up capital of 917,533,822 Baht. The Company had increased investments in the renewable energy business with the establishment of subsidiary namely: Inter Far East Energy Co., Ltd. (IFEE). This company has invested in Green Energy Technology Industry (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (GREEN), Clean City Co., Ltd. (CC) and JP Solar Power Co., Ltd. (JP)
On January 6, 2012 the Company completed the selling of the investments and commitments in power generation project of IFEC Green Power Plus Co., Ltd., JKR Energy Limited and RPV Energy Limited to Eastern Printing Public Company limited ("EPCO"). Regarding the Corporate Governance Report of Thai Listed Companies for 2012, the Company was jointly assessed by 3 organizations: the Stock Exchange of Thailand, the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Thailand Institute of Directors. The result was "Very Good" as in the past.
Concerning the corporate governance for the listed companies for 2011, the Stock Exchange of Thailand, the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Thailand Institute of Directors gave the Company with "Very Good CG Scoring." For the assessment of the Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders for 2011, the Thai Investors Association gave the Company as "Very Good."
On August 25, 2010 the Board of Directors resolved to approve a capital for the establishment of a subsidiary IFEC Green Power Plus Co., Ltd. to operate on the development of projects related to renewable energy. In this same time, Thai Investors Association who conducted the assessment of the Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders for 2010 gave the Company 100 points which was considered as "Excellent and should be an example." Concerning corporate governance for 2010, the Stock Exchange of Thailand, the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Thailand Institute of Directors jointly assessed the Company and gave the result as "Excellent." Furthermore, the Company's product "Konica Minolta" copier has received the Green label or Eco-label from the Office of the Secretary Green Label, Thailand Environment Institute as the quality product that has less environmental impact than the products that perform the same functions.
The Company received the ISO 14001:2004 (Environment Management System) and in the same time attended the Quality Assessment Meeting of Shareholders for the fourth time. For 2009, the Investors Association Thailand was assigned to conduct the assessment and the Company was rated as "Excellent"
The Company participated the Quality Assessment Meeting of Shareholders jointly organized by the Securities and Exchange Commission, Thai Investors Association and Thai Listed Companies Association, for the third time. The Company was again evaluated with the result "Exellent." Also, the Company was certified for quality management systems ISO: 9001:2000 by Certification (Thailand) Co., Ltd. to confirm the potential of the operations and services of the Company.
The Company participated the Quality Assessment Meeting of Shareholders with the Securities and Exchange Commission for the second time. As the Company had been trying to improve on such issue to achieve good governance, so in 2007 the Company was evaluated with the result "Very Good".
The Company had the vision to conduct business under the concept "TO BE THE PREMIUM OFFICE DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT COMPANY" to guide the development and management of the organization in a more efficient way. On July 3, 2006 the Stock Exchange changed the name and definition of the industry sector as part of the adjustment plan for business categories of the SET so that the business category of the listed companies on the Stock Exchange could reflect the business clearly and was able to support the new listed companies expected to be listed. Such changes resulting to the Company changed its segment and sector from formerly "Technology - Electrical Appliances and Computers" to "Consumer Products - Home and Office Products." The Securities and Exchange Commission conducted an assessment of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders in 2006 of the listed company. The Company was assessed as "good" compared to 14 listed companies in the same category with only 5 companies received a rating "good."
The Company left the rehabilitation plan before the deadline which suggested that the Company had operated the business at full potential that enabled it to leave such rehabilitation plan. Later, on May 9, 2005, the Court had ordered the cancellation of the rehabilitation. Therefore, the Company was able to conduct the business as usual. Meanwhile, the Stock Exchange of Thailand ordered that the Company be delisted from the REHABCO sector (Electrical appliances and computers) and lifted SP (SUSPENSION) thus resulting in the Company's securities to be traded in the Stock Exchange of Thailand as usual from January 31, 2006 onwards to present. As a result, the Company currently has sustained business operations as normal as other listed companies on the Stock Exchange of Thailand. At the same time, the Company saw an opportunity to grow the business for copiers in line with the technology change from analog to digital. The Company saw it as a good opportunity to expand the business to meet the needs of customers. Therefore, the Company increased more channels both branches and dealers to support new products and customers' needs as well as looking for business partners especially in software.
KONICA CORPORATION CO., LTD. and MINOLTA CO., LTD. Manufacturers in Japan merged and registered under the new name of KONICA MINOLTA BUSINESS TECHNOLOGIES INC. (KMBT), and changed from the original trademark to "KONICA MINOLTA." The Company continued as the appointed importer and distributor of copiers, control devices, parts and supplies under the trademark "KONICA MINOLTA" solely in Thailand. The Company was also appointed by the NEC Corporation (Thailand) to be the distributor of NEC's PABX system as well until present.
The Company entered a rehabilitation plan
The Company registered itself on the transformation from a limited company to be a public company and began trading on the Stock Exchange of Thailand. Meanwhile, the company won the trust of NCC (Thailand) Co., Ltd. being appointed as the distributor PABX system under the NEC brand.
The Company increased its registered capital to 120 million Baht.
The Company was allowed to bring the securities of the Company as a licensed security on the Stock Exchange of Thailand. At the same time, the Company moved to the new premises at No. 29 Ramkhamhaeng 22 Alley, Ramkhamhaeng Road, Hua Mak Sub-district, Bang Kapi District, Bangkok Metropolis 10240.
The Company increased its registered capital to 10 million Baht and 30 million Baht respectively.
KONICA CORPORATION CO., LTD. Manufacturer in Japan appointed the Company as an importer and distributor of Konica UBix copiers including control equipment, parts and supplies under the trademark name "Konica" solely in Thailand. The Company increased its registered capital to 5 million Baht.
The Company increased its registered capital to 3.5 million Baht.
